Q. How long does protection of a trademark last?

A.

A trademark right lasts 10 years from the date on which the trademark is registered. (Trademark Law Article 19). However, a registration can be extended indefinitely by filing an application for renewal of registration every 10 years (Trademark Law Article 19(2)).
